HydraKer — deep care for dry, porous and frizzy hair

An intensive treatment for hair that needs more softness, smoothness and shine. It helps reduce dryness and frizz, makes hair easier to comb and leaves it looking more cared for after just one treatment.

When your hair needs deep care

Sun, seawater, hot air from a hair dryer, straighteners, colouring, hard water and daily styling all affect the condition of your hair. As a result, hair can become more tangled and frizzy, lose its smoothness and struggle to hold its shape after styling.

HydraKer is a professional intensive treatment designed to hydrate and soften hair and improve its condition through the lengths. After the treatment, hair feels smoother, more elastic and softer to the touch.

Who is HydraKer for?

This treatment is especially suitable if your hair is:

Dry and porous through the lengths01
Frizzy and prone to static02
Dull and rough to the touch03
Difficult to comb04
Less soft after colouring05
Dried out by a hair dryer, straightener or sun06

What results does HydraKer deliver?

It is especially suitable for hair that looks dry and lifeless but does not need intensive structural repair.

Softer and smoother

Less dryness and frizz, and hair feels softer to the touch.

More shine

Hair looks fuller and more cared for.

Easier to comb and style

Less tangling and static, and styles hold their shape better.

Good to know

HydraKer or E-Plex?

These are two different treatments because they address different needs. HydraKer is better suited when the main concerns are dryness, frizz, porosity, and a lack of smoothness and shine.

E-Plex is more often chosen for hair that is badly damaged after lightening, colouring or other chemical treatments and needs extra strengthening. If your hair is both damaged and very dry, your stylist can recommend a combination treatment.

Frequently asked questions about HydraKer

Is HydraKer suitable for very dry hair? +

Yes. HydraKer is especially suitable for dry and porous hair. After the treatment, hair usually feels softer and smoother and is easier to comb.

Will HydraKer help with frizz? +

Yes, reducing frizz is one of the noticeable effects of the treatment. Hair becomes smoother and more manageable, so styling looks neater.

Can I have HydraKer after colouring? +

Yes. HydraKer is a great treatment after colouring, especially if your hair has become dry, dull or more porous.

Is HydraKer suitable for lightened hair? +

Yes. Lightened hair often needs extra hydration and softening. If your hair is very damaged and breaking, your stylist may also recommend E-Plex.

Does HydraKer straighten hair? +

No. This is not a keratin straightening treatment or long-lasting smoothing service. After the treatment, hair may look straighter and smoother because frizz is reduced and the lengths are in better condition, but the hair structure does not change.

Can I have HydraKer on curly hair? +

Yes. The treatment does not have to straighten your natural curl pattern. On curly and porous hair, it can help reduce dryness, improve softness and leave curls looking more cared for.

How long do the results of HydraKer last? +

How long the results last depends on the condition of your hair, how often you wash it, the home care products you use and exposure to hot styling tools. Softness and smoothness are usually most noticeable right after the treatment, while the right home care can help maintain the results for longer.

How often can I have HydraKer? +

How often you need the treatment depends on your hair’s condition. For dry and porous hair, it can be repeated periodically as needed. Your stylist can recommend an interval after assessing your hair.

Which is better — HydraKer or a hair mask at home? +

A hair mask at home is suitable for regular maintenance. HydraKer is a more intensive professional treatment that can be tailored to your hair’s condition and complemented with salon styling and protection for the lengths.

Is HydraKer suitable for fine hair? +

Yes, but the amount and intensity of care are chosen individually. With fine hair, it is especially important not to weigh down the lengths with too many nourishing products, so your stylist will choose a lighter approach.
